Pit Stop

So we ended up having a pitstop in Toronto… I know I know… it interrupts the trip. But it depends on how you look at it! It allows us to resupply and fix up the van in cool like gadget ways, PLUS we got Joe to surprise his baseball team, when they thought he wasn’t going to come. Unfortunately, they still lost but its all good. I’m considering Toronto part of “Cross Canada” so I’m going downtown to hang out with my brother tomorrow, and go see some cool shit. Maybe the art gallery? hmmm.
Before we got here, we stopped off in Fredericton to hang out with Gillian!! She showed us around town, took us out for LUNCH (mozza sticks!) and then for local ice cream! right up my alley. Was good seeing her and the small city again. After that we drove through New Brunny, into Quebec, weary of Moose. Had breakfast at a Subway, who they were ever so hostile for us speaking english (jeez) but its all good. Into Montreal we went, in hunt of….POUTINE!

Found it! Small local place, where they were not speaking English, or French, or anything that sounded remotely understandable in any dialect. One guy had a HUGE mustache… Im talking, half mustache / half beard potential. Either way it was $5 for that huge delight.
We had to be into Pembroke for around 6, to go check out an EARTHSHIP (google it, hella cool).
Unfortunately we got sucked into Montreal traffic from Hell, and couldnt make it (sorry Errol!) Either way, we ended up in Ottawa, hit up an ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT SUSHI! which pretty much saved our lives. After a good rest, we awoke, grabbed booster juices, stole internet signal, and off to TDOT! the ever so low vibrating Toronto :)!
Now we plan our escape….

Have you guys been fishing on your journey yet?

I was searching for info on the OFN site about sleeping in my van for the upcoming trout season here in Ontario and came across your thread there..

How about giving the OFN board a little progress report too?

    Keep on, keepin on…
