Where did I leave off?

Ok so I know I neglect this, but i think a good blog post has got photos and videos and schtuff for yall, but its incredibly tedious to upload them, especially videos (especially when its HD) but when we get home Ill do a nice recap for you guys.

So I write this from White Rock, British Columbia and Bellingham, Washington. I cant believe we made it. We stayed in Kamloops for 2 days, which was awesome. If you ever go there, bring a mountain bike or a snowboard… Its a wonderful place surrounded by mountains. The last morning before we left there, we decided to climb one of these mountains. Harder than I thought… but we got some cool video of it and pictures….

After that, drove thought the desert mountains for hours until it turned into thick lush forest type mountains… with snow on top? or are they burnt? we couldnt figure it out. Some spots were really “smoky” but the clouds looked weird too… You decide 😛

thennnnn we chatted with Al at the carwash for bit… was able to get showers there too. Legit. We kept driving and stopping… until we found our way into Cloverdale, right next to Langley. Met up with Josh and Saffron, who were ever so kind to let us hang out at their place. Really comfy too, right above Danni’s electronics and bikes! Through some hanging out, going for $5 breakfast (Josh we still owe ya!), sleeping in the van during the rain (amazing) and playing with Eddy (the kitten) and Simba (the other kitty) it was a great time. Thanks alot guys! and we will definitely meet again!

After this, we decided to ‘hunt’ into town…and the hunt ended with all you can eat sushi and korean bbq… oh man. Ever been so full you feel like puking, but you have to keep eating or they charge you the rest of the food, and ate anyways? Yea. Legendary meal.

After finding the North Star of car travelers and RVs (wal-mart) we fell asleep in North Vancouver, awaiting the next day. The next day consisted of waking up, going to Stanley Park which is one of thee coolest parks ive ever been to. Trees thicker than cars, and leaves of all colours. I made it to the shore, and encountered a huge Crane and Starfish, that watched me dip my hand into the Pacific Ocean. Quite an accomplishment. I can finally say Ive been to both coasts of Canada! After that we headed into the downtown core, and about 500 pictures later, Joe had his book and we were off. It was an amazing day that ended in White Rock with free tea and a dark spot to sleep outside of Home Depot. Goodtimes.

big spring!

Woke up today anxious to get to the border and into Bellingham, Washington. After some breakfast subs, and with the mountains behind us, we headed towards the border. Got through just fine, and no hassle. Americans are different people, but great people none the less. Joe went for a nap and I ventured into this really cool park that had a Salmon Sanctuary, where they help breed and spawn them. Got some really good footage and pictures, along with a great walk and reading… I know sounds boring eh? Well it was the opposite. “Mikes Adventures” I call them. Found some kids doing wheelies and jumps on their bikes, and decided to get some cool pictures of it. Gotta email them later, but the looks on their faces was legit. Kids felt like pros.

Now Im chillin in Starbucks drinking my green tea.. waiting for dinner… and tomorrow… DAVID ICKE!!!!!!!!

PEACE,
Mike
